Drawing began to interest Irina from an early age, the first subjects for her were fantastic birds and animals. By her first education she is an art critic (State Academy of Slavic Cultures), by her second she is a graphic designer (MGTA).
The main techniques that she uses are watercolor, ink, gouache, acrylic. She loves experimenting and mixing different materials. She draws a lot on environmental topics. The first big series that she drew was the "Red Book" dedicated to rare and endangered species of animals and birds.
She illustrates, invents various creatures and stories for them, draws nature and portraits. She likes to do the whole line drawings, forming the composition first in my head. She is inspired by baroque music and black and white films. Recently, she has been leaning more and more about symbolism.
